Blotter Setup window - Columns tab

You can use the Blotter Setup window - Columns tab window to select the columns that are displayed in the blotter window.

NOTE: The Compute Unrealized Values Using option on the Blotter pop-up menu determines how P&L columns on the Blotter window are calculated.

The following table contains a description of each field on the Blotter Setup window - Columns tab:

Columns

NOTE: All (Base) columns display currency using the currency type selected from Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field. All other columns display currency using the default currency type selected from the Settings window - System tab, Default Currency field.

Field Name	Description
Account	Indicates the account used for the transaction
Ask	Indicates the current ask price for the symbol
Avg Price	The average price paid for shares.
Avg Sell Price	Average sell price of shares for the selected order
Bid	Indicates the current bid price for the symbol
Billable	Indicates whether an order is billable
Buy Avg Price	The total price paid for shares divided by the number of shares held.
Buy Fills	Indicates the number of bought and filled orders for each position.
Buy Qty	The total number of shares bought for the current position.
Buy Trades	The number of buys that made up the current position.
Chg. Close	Change between current price and previous days closing price
Chg. Open	Change between opening price and current price
Company Name	Indicates Company Name of selected symbol
Currency	Indicates the currency type used for the transaction
Day Avg Price	Indicates the symbols average trading price for today
Day Long Avg Price	Indicates the symbols average long trading price for today
Day Short Avg Price	Indicates the symbols average short trading price for today
Imbalance	This column indicates whether there is an imbalance of MOC (Market on Close) orders. If the number is positive, this indicates there is an imbalance to the buy side. Under this condition, you can place a MOC sell order after the 3:40 (eastern) cutoff time. If the number is negative, this indicates there is an imbalance to the sell side. Under this condition, you can place a MOC buy order after the 3:40 (eastern) cutoff time.
Last	Indicates the last quote price for the symbol
Liq Added	Indicates the total number of shares that added liquidity to an ECN.
Liq Other	Some exchanges support liquidity values other than added and removed, which are indicated in this column.
Liq Removed	Indicates the total number of shares that removed liquidity from an ECN.
Long Avg Price	The average price paid for shares with a long position.
Long Mkt Value	Indicates the market value of currently held long positions.
Long Mkt Value (Base)	Indicates the market value of currently held long positions. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Master Account	Indicates the Master account tied to the account used for the transaction
Matched Delta Equity	Total profit and loss for closed positions based on the previous days price.
Matched Delta Equity (Base)	Total profit and loss for closed positions based on the previous days price. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Matched P&L	Indicates the profit or loss after closing the position for the symbol
Matched P&L (Base)	Indicates the profit or loss after closing the position for the symbol NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Net Qty	Indicates the quantity of stocks you have bought and sold
Non-Billable	Indicates whether the order is non-billable.
Sell Avg Price	The total price received for shares divided by the number of shares sold.
Sell Qty	The total number of shares sold for the current position.
Sell Trades	The number of sells that made up the current position.
Shares Long	Indicates the total number of shares with a long position.
Shares Short	Indicates the total number of shares with a short position.
Short Avg Price	The average price paid for shares with a short position.
Short Mkt Value	Indicates the market value of currently held short positions.
Short Mkt Value (Base)	Indicates the market value of currently held short positions. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Symbol	Indicates the symbol of the security you have bought or sold.
Today's Close	Indicates today's closing price for the selected security
Total Buy Amt	The total paid for the shares that make up the current position.
Total Buy Amt (Base)	The total paid for the shares that make up the current position. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Total Buy Qty	Indicates the total number of shares that were purchased.
Total Delta Equity	Total profit and loss for all positions based on the previous days price
Total Delta Equity (Base)	Total profit and loss for all positions based on the previous days price NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Total Mkt Value	Indicates the value of shares if sold at market prices.
Total Mkt Value (Base)	Indicates the value of shares if sold at market prices. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Total P&L	The total matched and unmatched profit and loss amount for the traded shares.
Total P&L (Base)	The total matched and unmatched profit and loss amount for the traded shares. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Total Qty	The total volume of shares traded.
Total Sell Amt	The total received for the shares that make up the current position.
Type	Indicates the type of security traded.
Unmatched Delta Equity	Total profit and loss for positions (based on the previous days price) if they were closed.
Unmatched Delta Equity (Base)	Total profit and loss for positions (based on the previous days price) if they were closed. NOTE: This value is displayed using the base currency selected from the Blotter Setup window - General tab, Base Currency field.
Unmatched P&L	Indicates the profit or loss if the position was closed right now. A number in parenthesis indicates a loss)

Field Name	Description
Hidden	Columns listed in this section do not appear on the Blotter window.
	Move Right button. To display a column, click a column name in the Hidden section, and then click the Move Right button.
	Move Left button. To hide a column, click a column name in the Displayed section, and then click the Move Left button.
Displayed	Columns listed in this section appear on the Order Status window.
	Move Up button. To move a column closer to the left on the Order Status window, click a column name in the Displayed section, and then click the Move Up button.
	Move Down button. To move a column closer to the right on the Order Status window, click a column name in the Displayed section, and then click the Move Down button.
Preview section (lower half of window)	Use this section to preview your changes.
OK button	Click to use the selected settings and close the Blotter Setup window.
Cancel button	Closes this window without updating the search results.
