Chart views display basic information about stocks, such as the high, low, opening, and closing prices for a specified time period.
With the Chart window, you can :
Add technical studies to provide a detailed analysis of a stock's performance, and link a chart to Minder and Level II views.
Display the chart as a line or bar graph, and set the period and dates for the chart data.
Hide or display the chart values bar at the top of the chart. The values bar displays the date, time, open, close, high, and low, plus any studies values for the point in the graph your mouse pointer is over.
Display the Chart toolbar at the top of the chart. The Chart toolbar contains options to draw trend lines, create text labels, and toggle the chart axis on and off.
Scroll a chart horizontally if it exceeds the width of the window. By default, the chart will "snap to the right" when you release it, displaying the most recent data. You can Turn off the Snap to Right feature if you want the chart to stay where you scroll it.
