to view basic information about a stock, such as the high, low, opening,
and closing prices for a specified time period. You can also use the Chart window to:
add technical studies to provide detailed analysis of a stock's performance
Draw trend lines to better understand when to enter and exit the market
Create text labels to mark important points of a chart
link a chart to Market Minder and Market Maker window views.
set the period and dates for the chart data
display information as a chart or in table format
NOTE: You can scroll a chart horizontally if it exceeds the width of the window. By default, the chart will "snap to the right" when you release it, displaying the most recent data. You can turn off the Snap to Right feature if you want the chart to stay where you scrolled it.
Opening the Chart window
To view the Chart
window, click the button from the main window.
Click here to view the different types of charts that can be displayed.
The following table contains a description of each field on the Toolbar menu:
