Configuring Excel Integration

After installing the Excel Integration Package (click here for details), Ultimate Trader and Microsoft Excel must be configured to integrate with each other.

Perform the following to configure Ultimate Trader and Microsoft Excel.

 

  1. From Microsoft Word, perform the following the set the Excel security settings to Low:

  2. From the Microsoft Excel toolbar, select Tools>Options. The Options window appears

  3. Click the Security tab.


     

  4. Click the Macro Security button located near the bottom of the window. The Security window appears


     

  5. Select the Low option
    NOTE:
    When selecting this option, it is highly recommended that you have virus scanning software installed on your system.

  6. Click OK to save the setting and close the window.

  7. Click OK on the Options window to save the settings and close the window.
     

  8. You must now enable remote application functionality within Ultimate Trader. From the Ultimate Trader main menu, select Tools>Settings, the Settings window appears.

  9. From the Settings window, click the System tab.


     

  10. Click the Enable integration with external applications so that it is checked.

  11. Click OK to save the settings and close the window.
