Installing Excel Integration Components

 

The Ultimate Trader Excel Integration components can be installed using a self-contained installation executable. This executable can detect whether Microsoft.Net is installed on your system and will install it for you if needed.

 

Perform the following steps to install in the Ultimate Trader Excel Integration components:

 

 

  1. Download the Excel Integration package from http://support.integratedtrading.com/excel/ and save it to your system.

  2. Find the location you downloaded oprtd1.2.exe. Double click the file. The Omni Pro RTD Server Setup: Installation Folder window appears.


     

  3. By default, the Excel integration files will be installed to C:\Program Files\Omni Pro RTD Server. If you wish to change this location, click the Browse button and select a new folder.

  4. Click the Install button. The installation program will now detect whether you have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your system.

  5. If you do not have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your system, perform the following. Otherwise, continue with the next step

  6. The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Setup window appears.


     

  7. Click Yes to continue installing Microsoft .NET. The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Setup window appears


     

  8. After reading the license agreement, select I Agree

  9. Click Install. The Microsoft .NET installation continues.

  10. At the end of the Microsoft .NET installation, the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Setup window appears


     

  11. Click OK to end the Microsoft .NET installation

  1. The Excel Integration installation continues. Once the install is complete, the Ultimate Trader RTD Server Setup: Completed window appears


     

  2. Click Close to close the window and end the install

  3. You must now configure Ultimate Trader and Microsoft Excel to work together. Click here for more information.
