Settings window - Speed Keys tab

You can use the Settings window - Speed Keys tab to link keys to functions in Ultimate Trader. For example, you can set the F6 key to open the Blotter window when pressed.

The following table contains a description of each field on the Settings window - Speed Keys tab:

Field Name	Description
Enabled? column	Indicates whether speed key functionality is enabled.
Categories section	Click a function to display its speed key settings.
Current Keys section	Use this section to set the speed keys for each function
Add button	Click to add a speed key setting to the selected function
Remove button	Click to remove the currently selected speed key setting.
OK button	Click to accept changes and close the Settings window

NOTE: The Send Link Event speed key is designed to update the link group without retyping a symbol. For example, you can have multiple Level II windows and a single Chart window in the same group. You can then click on either Level II window and press the Send Link Event speed key to automatically update the chart with the symbol of the currently selected Level II window.

Application
Next Window	Assign a key to view the next component windows of the same type (i.e. the next Chart window). You can assign a speed key to each component window in Ultimate Trader. NOTE: If you press a speed key to display a component window type that is not currently open, nothing will happen. For example, if you press F1 to view a chart window, when no chart windows are open, nothing will occur.
Previous Window	Assign a key to view the previous component windows of the same type (i.e. the previous Chart window). You can assign a speed key to each component window in Ultimate Trader. NOTE: If you press a speed key to display a component window type that is not currently open, nothing will happen. For example, if you press F1 to view a chart window, when no chart windows are open, nothing will occur.
Clone Active Window	Clones the currently selected component window
Iconify All Windows	Minimizes all component windows
De-iconify All Windows	Restores all component windows
Order Entry
Place Order	Places an order using the selected criteria
Cancel All Orders	Cancels all Live orders.
Cancel Orders for Symbol	Cancels all Live orders for the selected symbol
Cancel Orders for Criteria	Cancels all orders that match the Intention and Route criteria
Cancel Most Recent Order for Symbol	Cancels the most recent order rally
Close Open Positions	Close all open positions
Toggle Hide Order	Turns the "attempt to hide orders" feature on and off
Toggle Proactive Orders	Turns the "proactive order" feature on and off
Level II
Toggle Load	Press to show or hide and the Order Load panel
Send Link Event	Sends a Link event from the currently selected window to all other "linked" windows. See Linking Views for more information.
