Modify an Order

You can modify existing orders with a status of LIVE to change the quantity, price and other criteria.

To modify a Live order, perform the following:

1. From the Order Status window, right click the LIVE order you want to modify. The Order Status pop-up window appears with an additional option to modify the selected order.
   
   
    

2. Click Modify to change the selected order. The Modifying Order window appears.
   
   
    

3. Make all necessary changes to the order. Make all necessary changes to the order.

4. Click the Modify button. The Confirm Order Modification window appears, with your changes showing in the New Value column with a bold font. In this example, the order quantity was changed from 1 to 100.
   
   
    

5. Click OK to save the changes and modify your order. The Order Status window will indicate that the original order is cancelled and a new order with your changes has been placed. For this example, the order with a single share has been cancelled and replaced with a new order for 100 shares.
