You can use the Order Load panel to quickly place orders from the Market Maker and Market Depth windows.
NOTE: The Order Load panel will display the following letter indicators when certain options are enabled:
C - Convert Intention
H - Hide Orders
P - Use Position enabled
A - Place Proactive Orders

NOTE: The Order Load panel must be enabled for you to place orders. Click here to learn how to show the Order Load panel.
Perform the following:
Double-click a row and column to place an order. The price from the column you clicked appears in the Price field in the Order Load panel.
Notes:
Clicking on the Bid column will create a sell order at the current bid price
Alt-clicking on the Bid column, will create a buy order at the current bid price
Ctrl-Clicking on the Bid column will create a sell-limit order at the current bid price
Clicking on the Ask column will create a buy order at the current ask price
Alt-clicking on the Ask column, will create a sell order at the current ask price
Ctrl-Clicking on the Ask column will create a buy-limit order at the current bid price
In the Order Load panel, perform the following:
In the Quantity field, type or select the number of securities you want to purchase
From the Price Type field, select the type of order you want to place. Depending on choice made here, the Limit Amount or Trailing Delta fields may become enabled or disabled
When placing a limit or stop-limit order, type the limit amount in the Limit Amount field
When placing a stop-limit order, type the stop price in the Stop Price field
When placing a trailing-stop order, type the trailing amount in the Trailing Delta field
When placing a discretionary order, type the limit amount in the Limit Amount field
From the Volume Qualifier drop-down list, select whether to place an all-or-nothing (AON) or partial (PART) order
From the Time in Force drop-down list, select the time the order is in effect
DAY - Good for the Day
GTC - Good Till Cancelled
IOC - Immediate or Cancel: Any portion of an order that is NOT immediately filled is cancelled.
OPG - Use OPG to send a market on open (MOO) or limit on open (LOO) order. Currently these order types are only supported for equities traded on AMEX and NYSE.
RLD - Reloaded. A NYSE order that is time enforced and canceled and replaced.
From the Route drop-down list, select the route for the order
If you want to select a custom route, click the Route Preference check box so that a check mark appears and then type the exchange code in the Route Preference field
Press Enter, or click the Buy, Sell, Cover, or Short button. A order confirmation message appears, displaying the order details.
Click OK to close the confirmation window and submit the order. The submitted order appears in the Order Status window.
